Every HTTP request contains a method that specifies the operation to execute, for example, POST, GET, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE. Fotoware can use all standard methods as specified here: RFC 9110: HTTP Semantics.

Fotoware also uses custom methods, which need to be configured in the proxies and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), that only support the standard HTTP methods.

The methods that need to be allowed are:

• EXPORT
• ARCHIVE
• UNDELETE
• UNARCHIVE
• VALIDATE
• VERIFY
• REJECT
• APPROVE
• REVOKE
