Sometimes you might need to duplicate one or more assets in an archive, for example, if you intend to edit a file and want to retain a copy of the original.

To do so, select the file or files, and open the File info panel by selecting T on the keyboard.

Select the Duplicate icon. 

To avoid the unintentional duplication of a large selection of assets you must select the Duplicate icon twice to confirm.
