Text fields in Fotoware Alto include an option to render Markdown, a well-known and widely supported syntax. Using Markdown in text fields allows basic formatting of descriptions, press kit content, or product descriptions to highlight specific areas or structure longer text areas. 

Fotoware Alto uses the following component: https://markdown-it.github.io, which offers an online demo. Ensure that all plugins (checkboxes at the top) are disabled, as Fotoware Alto does not currently support any plugins.
