Fotoware Alto supports AI auto-tagging using Azure. The configured image output is sent to Azure for AI tagging. Tags are written into the Image Analytics Layer, which will appear in the Detail view of images in Fotoware Alto.

Business Rule “Enqueue Tagging”

The Business Rule below is an example of a scenario in which all uploaded images are sent to Azure for tagging. In this case, the tagging settings are configured only in the Cloud Manager.

The Azure Tagging Options section in the EnqueueTaggingAction in a configured Business Rule allows you to override the feature flags, language, and minimum confidence value threshold configured in the Cloud Manager.

If you prefer, you can use the list of keywords from the Image Analytics layer to compare it with your approved keywords in Fotoware Alto before assigning matching keywords to a relevant field.

  • Get your data with a Take Dictionary Value Transformation
  • Then split the keywords at the , separator
  • Before using a Projection Transformation and a Lookup Cache Transformation to match tags in your Keywords named cache

Then you are free to assign the found tags to the tagbox field. In our example, the basic information layer keywords tagbox field is in Fotoware Alto.
