A new version of Fotoware Alto (previously Content Platform) is being released.

Version: Fotoware Alto Monte Zucchero (11.15) will be released on 21-May-2025.
Main changes: This release is mainly focused on stability and security improvements, as well as general bug fixing.

Monte Zucchero in the Lepontine Alps.

Monte Zucchero is a mountain located in the Lepontine Alps of Switzerland, between Bignasco and Sonogno in the Ticino canton. It reaches a height of 2,735 meters above sea level, and its name, meaning Sugar Mountain, likely refers to the smooth, rounded appearance of its summit. The mountain is known for its panoramic vistas and scenic trails, making it a popular destination for climbing, hiking, and mountaineering.

ℹ️ Note: The Picturepark Content Platform is now called Fotoware Alto

This name change is not yet visible in our product, but we expect the name and logo to be updated in our next release.
For more information about this renaming, see Introducing Fotoware Alto and Veloz – new names for our DAM solutions.

User documentation has moved! You can now find the latest version of the Fotoware Alto Knowledge Base at learn.fotoware.com.

Updates

  • Multiple bug fixes in the new batch editor, in the Content/List items editing functionalities, and in the Share viewer.
  • The authentication system has been updated to the latest version.
  • Rendering capability to use the clipping path to create an alpha channel if not present.

🚨 Changes To API & SDKs

There are no API changes with the upcoming Fotoware Alto Release “Monte Zucchero” (v11.15). To see previous changes, see: API changes

If you use our SDKs or samples like the Content Portal, we recommend updating to the latest version:

  • Picturepark SDK.DotNet
  • Picturepark.SDK.TypeScript
  • Picturepark SDK.Samples

If you would like to test your changes in advance, we can provide you with a functionally limited clone running on the latest 11.15 preview code base within our stage environment (free provisioning of such a stage system depends on your subscription plan or partner status).
