The condition Layers Changed checks if there have been changes made to the Layer. This does not include changes to the Layer itself but only to Layer changes on the Content Item.

Triggers whenever any Layers are assigned or unassigned. 

Use Layer Changed in combination with AND/OR to add more conditions and further limit the number of affected Content Items. Otherwise, you may update Content Items you didn’t want to.

No specific definitions are required, though it is recommended to add additional conditions, as this rule triggers whenever anyone assigns or unassigns any Layer anywhere in the system.
